Best vacation I ever took!

Recently I took a trip to San Francisco just for a fun vacation with my grandmother. And staying at the Fairmont made it even more special. To start, the good feelings came even entering the hotel for the first time. The doorman, William, was pleasant and polite and welcomed us to the hotel. As we stepped inside, the grandeur of the place surrounded me. From the beautiful Corinthian columns to the ornate light fixtures to the grand staircase, I was in awe of how beautiful the lobby was. We headed to check in and were assisted by Megan, who was very polite and cheerful while assisting us with check in. She never stopped smiling and helped us every step of the way, even providing us with complimentary in-room WiFi! She was wonderful. The bellman John then gladly guided us to our room, 572. It was a beautiful two bed room with a grand view out to the front of the hotel. The accommodations were lovely. The beds super comfortable, the shower nice and warm, and the bathroom amenities perfect. I even loved the bathrobes, I used one every night following my shower as I looked out the window of the night rising over San Francisco.

Every morning, Grandmom and I were fortunate to enjoy breakfast at the hotel's Caffe Cento. The baristas were all very polite and served us with a smile. And the food was very tasty! Each morning we chose two pastries to share, and each got a hot beverage. That spiced hot apple cider is absolutely DELICIOUS, I recommend it! As for the pastries, I was very fond of the sticky bun, the apple cinnamon danish, and the orange and cranberry scone.

Our days consisted of touring the city everywhere and seeing all that San Francisco had to offer. It was a great vacation and staying at the Fairmont made it even better. I hope to return someday and enjoy the same pleasant experience I did recently while staying there. It's an absolutely fantastic hotel and I was pleased to have been able to stay there.
