Grilled Cheese with a Quebecois Twist

Ingredients

• • 6 slices of Prosciutto
  • Mixture of 3 grated Cheeses
  • 1 Pear, julienned
  • 1 Onion, julienned
  • Foccacia Bread with Rosemary
  • 35% Cream
  • Salt and Pepper

Time: 20 Minutes

 

 

1. 1. Melt the cheese with a little white wine and 35% Cream until smooth.
   2. Set aside the melted Cheese until it cools a little bit, then spread half of it on bread.
   3. Place the Prosciutto on top.
   4. Caramelize onions and pears with the maple syrup and add to the sandwich, then top with more cheese.
   5. Dress sandwich: (bread, cheese, prosciutto, cheese, caramelized pears, bread).
   6. Place on a baking sheet in the oven until cheese melts again.
