This very stylish cocktail recipe was brought to you by Jean-Félix Desfossés, mixologist at Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It is a perfect fit for the season as the drink can be served cold on a festive cocktail party but also warm, to sip by the fireplace. If you want to serve warm: simply replace the white sugar by cassonade. Add a tablespoon of butter, a supplementary 1/4 oz of the syrup. Complete with hot water and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
