Ingredients

• Cocktail Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz Appleton Estate Rum
  • 1/2 oz El Dorado 12 years Rum
  • 1/4 oz Islay Scotch Whisky (Big Peat)
  • 3/4 oz Cardamon and Orange Syrup
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 3 dashes Teapot bitters by DR Adams Elmegirab (optional)

• Cardamom and Orange syrup ingredients

  • 500 ml boiling water
  • 500 ml white sugar
  • 2 oz Cardamom seeds
  • Zest of one orange

• Decoration / Garnish

  • 1 dried orange slice
  • 1 slice of fresh lime
  • Bunch of mint
  • Orange peel

1. Cocktail preparation

   1. Pour all ingredients into the shaker
   2. Add ice and shake vigorously
   3. Strain in a ice filled high ball glass
   4. Top with soda
   5. Garnish

2. Cardamom and Orange syrup preparation

   1. Steep cardamom cloves and orange peel for 5 minutes in boiling water
   2. Strain the liquid
   3. Add sugar and stir until sugar dissolves
   4. Let cool down and store in refrigerator (up to 3 weeks)
