Fairmont Singapore Counts Down To the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) With First YOG Mural

With 150 days before the inaugural 2010 YOG, official hotel partner, Fairmont Singapore paints a colorful countdown with the first YOG mural, created by its very own staff member Charlene Tenio. From the 17th-21st of March,guests and diners at Prego Restaurant enjoyed watching Charlene bring the mural to life in an interactive exhibition fusing dining, art, and sports. Measuring an impressive 2.3m x 1.2m, the vibrant acrylic canvas painting features the adorable YOG mascots (Lyo and Merly) set against a backdrop of Singapore’s ionic landmarks. After the mural’s completion, it was hung in the lobby for all to admire.
