Chef Sean Curry's Molasses Crinkle

Ingredients

• • ¾ Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Cup Molasses
  • 2 ¼ Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • Course Baker's Sugar

1. 1. Mix Butter, Brown Sugar, Egg and Molasses.
   2. In a separate bowl, sift together Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Cloves, Cinnamon and Ginger.
   3. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
   4. Roll into balls the size of a golf ball.
   5. Dip into bakers sugar just on one side.
   6. Lightly grease cookie sheet and place at least 2" apart.
   7. Use eye dropper and drop 2 drops of water on each cookie.
   8. Bake at 375 degree’s for 10 to 12 minutes. Test cookie, they may have to bake 3 to 4 more minutes depending on altitude and oven variances.
