Waterfront Savoury Shortbread

Ingredients

Yield:

2 dozen

• • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

• Add one or any desired combo of the following:

  • 3 tbsp pecan
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
  • 6 tbsp pinenuts

1. • cream butter and sugar together
   • mix flour and salt, add to butter
   • add herbs
   • roll into log and chill
   • cut to 1/2 " thick cookies
   • bake for 9-12 minutes at 325F until slightly golden
