Excellence in Customer Care Personified
My family takes a trip every year to celebrate my now 8yr old daughter and my wife's birthday's, they are two days apart. We were in the Four Seasons for a couple of days before having to switch to the Fairmont Dallas. Let me tell you, the Four Seasons is always great. I mean top notch everything, I hated to leave. When we arrived at the Fairmont I can say for an older property, our room was nice too. But the staff was spectacular! I have to be honest and start with the concierge, Phillip Powell. He went beyond measure during our entire stay. By the second night, he had memorized our names, recommended where to go, how to get there, I mean everything. He involved the other staff as well. The bellmen, front desk, by day 3 it felt like the TV show "Cheers" everybody knew our names. On my daughter's birthday, they had a card in our room with balloons wishing Kennedy a happy birthday. I think it was signed by almost everyone. Philip arranged for my wife got a top-notch prenatal massage by a massage therapist that was able to perform it in our room. The hotel sedan took us everywhere, it was like having Uber or Lyft pretty much on demand. I cant forget one of our drivers named "J". The most awesome driver in Dallas. Great conversation, a Dallas native, just an awesome person. Usually we head to the Caribbean, but that damn Zika virus kept us in the states. But I tell you, stay at the Fairmont Dallas, find Philip Powell and you will be amazed at the warmth they provide you while you stay there. It made me forget we even stayed at the Four Seasons. The only reason we had to move was the Texas/Oklahoma football game. But I'm super glad we did. The staff at the Fairmont was truly Excellence Personified.
