Choose between a regular or electric BMW bicycle and they’ll provide all additional equipment, plus insider tips on the city’s best trails and must-see sights. The bikes’ storage carousel, designed by local woodworking studio Chapel Arts, is an attraction in itself.

hotel’s local Culture & Sustainability Ambassador and in-house Beekeeper. Her schedule revolves around the hotel’s colony of 100,000 wild bees. Their delicious honey is used in dishes at the hotel’s organic restaurant, Wugu. A-Ping’s family has worked as farmers in Suzhou’s Xishan region for generations, growing rice, vegetables and tea. She guides guests through the unique relationship between bees and the hotel’s Yue Feng Organic Farm.

Guests returning from fishing adventures along Canada’s West Coast can store their catch with Fairmont Vancouver Airport’s dedicated Fish Valet. Recent check-ins include a 900-pound (400-kilogram) sturgeon, and a halibut weighing in at 180 pounds (81 kilograms). Fish of all sizes are stored at 5º Fahrenheit (-15º Celsius) in a specially designed 575-cubic-foot freezer, so they stay fresh for the journey home.
