Fairmont Shines in Gold, Silver and Bronze

If you’ve populated the online community EveryonesAnOriginal.com, explored the Fairmont President’s Club online, booked a room through the Fairmont mobile app or enjoyed the benefits of Fairmont’s sustainable-travel commitment, you’ll understand why Fairmont Hotels & Resorts walked away a repeat winner at the 54th annual Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Adrian Awards held in New York in January.

Fairmont earned a gold for its online community, EveryonesAnOriginal.com, while Fairmont’s Green Partnership Program and H20 packages also received the top spots in the leader in sustainability tourism category. Fairmont’s President’s Club and mobile app each won silvers and its search marketing strategy earned a bronze in the loyalty program member-marketing category.

“Our team works extremely hard to produce dynamic and creative campaigns that highlight our world-class portfolio and we are honored to have our industry peers recognize these efforts,” said Brian Richardson, vice president, brand marketing and communications at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, following the awards ceremony.

The HSMAI is a global organization of sales and marketing professionals representing all segments of the hospitality industry. The Adrian Awards honor outstanding achievement in advertising, public relations and digital marketing in the travel industry. Applications are reviewed by approximately 200 industry experts comprised of advertising, public relations, media and Internet marketing professionals, along with leading members of the travel community. Entries are evaluated in five equally weighted categories: marketing objectives, creativity, quality, content and results.
