Go Fish!
Mont Tremblant’s popular golf greens may be closed for the winter, but ice fishing is still an option. A guide can provide a heated tent during the two- to four-hour excursion and will even take the kids out on an ATV ride while you try to land a pike or perch.
Be a Big Kid
Snow tubing is a great way to hit the trails with the whole family. The park is a 10-minute drive from the resort and has eight runs and several restaurants, so make a day out of it. No need for equipment or lessons when gravity does the trick just fine!
Get Your Gourmand On
While everyone else is snacking on ski-hill junk food like poutine and beaver tails, take the time for fine dining without leaving the resort at Aux Truffes, which specializes in French cuisine, or at Fairmont’s Windigo Restaurant and slope-side Nansen Lounge where, at minutes from your room, you won’t even have to don your jacket!
Hit the Spa
Massages and body wraps aren’t just for soothing skiers’ aching muscles! Indulge yourself on site in one of the 15 treatment rooms at Fairmont’s AMERISPA. You can also take a drive to the nearby Spa Scandinave, where you can soak in a hot tub surrounded by freshly fallen snow or take a dip in the ice-cold river (if you dare).
Win Big
The Casino de Mont Tremblant offers more than just gaming – you can also catch musical guests and the in-house jazz band in the casino’s lounge. Or, take part in regular Texas Hold’em tournaments that offer cash and lift tickets as prizes.
Brush up on History
If you do strap on skis, make it a learning experience with a free 45- to 60-minute guided tour (every day at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., meet up at the summit’s trail map) that includes information about the area’s history, the origins of the trail names and the mountain’s hidden treasures, including its prime lookouts, sunniest trails and little-known rest stops. Register inside Le Grand Manitou at the customer service counter.
Snow Mobile
Want to arrive at your destination warm, dry and in style? Fairmont President’s Club members can reserve a chauffeured BMW Diesel X5 for seeking out activities
off the resort.
Have your own car but unsure of your winter driving skills? Try a BMW one-day winter driving course in a BMW 3 Series, where you’ll learn to face ice, sleet and snow with confidence. (They also offer a general driving course every fall, where you can improve your skills against the stunning backdrop of Mont Tremblant’s fall foliage.)
