Holidays at The Fairmont San Jose

While the elves were working tirelessly in the North Pole, our team of skilled pastry chefs carefully created four magical chocolate holiday sculptures. A life-size chocolate Santa Claus statue, fondly named Chocó Santa, greets guests at the front entrance. Chocó Santa was created with 200 pounds of dark chocolate over 150 hours.

Our white chocolate Grinch sculpture is displayed in the Lobby Lounge while two life-size chocolate nutcrackers stand guard. Approximately 50 pounds of white chocolate was molded, 70 pounds of fondant was shaped and 50 pounds of royal icing was piped over 250 hours to create this special tribute to Mr. Grinch.
